Tail vein injection

Tail vein injection in black mice can be quite difficult. To improve the contrast of the veins and their visibility, a special 180° LED illumination device can be applied. In addition, it was reported that a Broome style restrainer and effortless insulin syringes for i.v. injection can facilitate intravenous injection.
