I was wondering if any of you have first-hand experience (and / or are aware of recognised guidance) of using DMSO (Dimethyl sulfoxide) to facilitate moving substances into solution for subsequent injection into mice via the S/C route, from a toxicity perspective? Upon literature review I have come across some varying statements / information on this, both for total quantity as well as % solution of DMSO (v/v) and wondered if anyone had experience of this to help me please?

Generally DMSO is used at 5-10% (often with other components such as cremaphor) with no adverse effects.
